Today made a recipe my dad used to make alot, hadn't made it since he passed away 2.5 years ago. Went outside to check something and walked back into my suegras house.....
And was felt like I was back in my Dad's house, waiting to eat his baked chicken legs with honey and soy sauce (among other super secret ingredients). I could even see him knealing at the oven , turning the legs with his tongs.
And this time, I just smiled at the thought of him.
Anyone else have any smell related memories of a loved one?
